Meet the family
Na Miodowo is a family meadery in the Kraków-Częstochowa Upland (Jura), Poland — limestone hills, wildflower meadows and our own apiaries. Beekeeping has been in the family for four generations; the meadery was founded in 2023 as the natural next chapter. Small batches, honey exclusively from our own hives, and long, patient maturation.
In June 2026 our caramelised bochet mead Wybornik took 1st place in the M4 Special Meads category at CHIP — the Portuguese International Mead Competition in Amarante (151 meads from 14 countries, judged blind).
Krzysztof Lechowicz
Co-founder. Beekeeper and mead maker — from the first spring flight to fermentation and ageing. Certified mead judge (MJP 2), beekeeping technician, graduate of the Pszczela Wola beekeeping school. Every bottle is his craft.
Wioletta Lechowicz
Quality control, documentation and marketing — and hands-on work in the apiary. Graduate of the Pszczela Wola beekeeping school, national mead judge (MJP 1).
Filip Lechowicz
Co-founder. International mead judge (MJP 2) — he judged at CHIP 2026 in Portugal. Beekeeping technician. Runs IT and this online shop, helps at every stage of production and works in the apiary.
Hubert Lechowicz
International mead judge (MJP 2). Helps with everything — from the apiary to packing your orders. Judged at Mead Madness Cup 2026 in Kraków, the world's largest mead event (777 meads, 35 countries).
